Richie Shoots His Own Boss During A Campsite Raid
Sergeant David Langham tracks down a lead about the thefts happening across the neighbourhood. Later, his daughter Lacey’s purse gets stolen, and the officer successfully links the perpetrator to a recent grocery store break-in.
Elsewhere, Justin Morgan’s van is located at a nearby bush campsite, hence things seem positive. And that’s when David takes his young protegee Richie Brezniak along with him to arrest the thief. However, the raid goes completely wrong when a resident claims that she bought the vehicle from the salesman.
Next came a shock when her aggressive boyfriend emerged from the shadows to attack the police. Since, there was a huge threat, a panicked Richie pulled out his service weapon despite his superior ordering him to stand down. Then comes the tragic twist of fate which none saw coming as David steps directly into the line of fire when the rookie pulls the trigger.
David took a bullet to the abdomen. Soon, Cash Cartwright arrives at the bloody scene to find the shooter completely distraught and confessing to the terrible blunder. Meanwhile, the conduct commission immediately suspended the rookie for failing to follow basic procedures.
Doctor Amelia Carlisle Fights To Stabilise David In Home and Away
David was brought to the hospital in a critical condition. And soon the new doctor Amelia takes charge of the scene and quickly learns that the bullet is still inside the patient’s body due to a lack of an exit wound.
But things worsen when the sergeant suddenly goes into ‘cardiac arrest’. Now, the medical team is forced to try immediate resuscitation and the worried family members rush to the hospital corridor.
Elsewhere, despite the pressure, the doctor remains calm. She even administers three intense rounds of adrenaline to kickstart the failing heart. Well, the physician successfully revived the patient. However, she warns the terrified family that the danger is far from over.
