After opening up to Cash Newman during questioning, Lacey made it clear she still cares deeply for Theo. She wastes no time and heads straight to the hospital to see him. But what she walks into is far from comforting.
Sonny Baldwin fills her in on just how bad things are, Theo’s in critical condition after Gage Reynolds’ violent revenge attack. Sonny doesn’t hold back, and he even pushes Lacey to take action and make Gage pay for what he’s done.
When Cash hears about her hospital visit, he starts to question where her loyalties really lie. Is she still caught up with Gage, or is she genuinely trying to do the right thing? The confusion only grows until Lacey returns, this time asking for police protection.
According to a Home and Away insider, Lacey’s request shows just how serious the situation is. She’s scared, and for good reason. Meanwhile, when Theo finally wakes up, the very first thing he asks about is Lacey before he even starts talking to Cash.
A Bold Move and a Shocking Twist in Home and Away
While she stays hidden, Lacey names Gage as the one who dropped the car on Theo—and when Theo gives his official statement, he confirms exactly the same thing. That’s all Cash needs. He wastes no time and arrests Gage.
But just as things seem wrapped up, there’s one more surprise: Lacey appears at Gage’s side at the moment he’s cuffed. It throws Cash for a loop, until Lacey explains why. She tells Cash that being seen with Gage during the arrest was her way of keeping the River Boys off her back. If they saw her with him, they’d never suspect she gave a statement.
Later, Lacey visits Theo in hospital. The two share a sweet moment and a kiss, and she promises she’ll be back soon. But just as she’s about to leave, Leah Patterson steps in, and her tone is anything but warm. Leah delivers a cold and firm warning: Lacey needs to stay away from Theo and cut all contact.
