The stalker has refused to respect the boundaries Lacey has set. When they connected during the train crash, Lacey was very clear that she wasn’t ready for anything, especially after losing Theo. Despite that, Holden used to find excuses to be near her. Later, Mali noticed the stalker’s evil intentions. Realising he had nothing to do with surfing and was only hanging around to be with Lacey, Mali stopped his bookings completely.
Soon, Mali’s students got some strange texts cancelling lessons. When he suspected Holden, Lacey tried to defend him. However, when he refused to show his phone, she knew he had crossed a line. Next week, Lacey drafts a text to end things clearly. However, Abigail steps in. She writes using harsh words and sends it herself. But the stalker sees Abigail sending the messages, not Lacey.
Then, Lacey goes to the diner and tells Leah everything. Later, Holden books a romantic dinner for two at Salt under both their names. But when he turns up with red roses, Abby faces him alone. He blames her for ruining his chance. Then she calls Lacey, who admits that his behaviour is now frightening. Later, Leah tells Abby to stay away from him and asks Mali to be with her.

When Lacey returns home, she finds roses arranged on her table. That’s enough to prove that the stalker has been inside. Moments later, he appears in front og him. When he begins to talk about their so-called relationship, she challenges him. That’s when he shows her the secret photos he has taken of her. Knowing she must escape, she plays along. She then suggests they should go to Salt. Once they reach the surf club, she warns him to stay away.
When Mac notices this, she runs inside to bring Mali. But when they returned, Holden was seen grabbing the poor girl. Later, Mali blocks him and punches him to the ground. Finally, Levi intervenes and stops the two from fighting. Meanwhile, Holden reaches the police first. He then reports Mali for assault. When David questions Mali, he explains everything. Even Levi confirms that Holden has been harassing Lacey.
