Since Abigai wanted to rectify the situation, she convinced her partner to visit the ward and apologise to David. However, seeing him, David’s heart rate spikes dangerously, and Dr Amelia immediately orders the young officer out of the room.
Later, at the surf club Abi tries to defend her boyfriend’s mistake, causing Lacey to snap and slap her. Elsewhere, Richie senses that his future is ruined and packs his bags to attend a city conduct hearing with Cash Newman. But before that he tells Abigail that he’s not in the right place for a relationship and that she deserves better.

The sudden rejection leaves the jilted resident completely crushed. And this forces Eden to cover her work shift at Salt before searching for someone to watch over her. Later, Eden requests assistance from Remi and initially doubts his ability to help.
But when he arrives at the house, he uses a bottle of tequila to break the icy atmosphere and ease the awkwardness. Soon, the evening takes a genuine turn when Remi gives her emotional support. He tells her that she truly deserves someone who actually appreciates her worth.
And by the time Eden returns home, she sees the dup happily dancing around the living room. And the following morning, a grateful Abigal treats her companion to a home-cooked breakfast and heads out to work.
