Things are reaching a crisis point in Home and Away. Alf’s close call has everyone reeling, but it’s Eliza’s icy response that brings Roo up short. As Marilyn’s urgings are ringing out louder than ever before, Roo can’t help wondering if she’s been refusing to see a sinister reality.
A Close Call for Alf in Home and Away
When Alf gets sick, he screams for Eliza to get his phone. But instead of taking action, she tacks around and observes. She fakes searching the bait shop, even rejecting a worried customer, and then informs Alf that the battery is dead. Just as things begin to look horribly dangerous, John arrives and comes to the rescue.
Luckily, Alf recovers once he receives another dose of his heart pills, but the entire episode leaves everyone’s mouth with a bad taste. Later, Eliza appears again, this time in Irene’s living room, claiming she’s waiting for Harper, though Harper’s away. Irene’s obviously shaken up. When Roo comes over and catches Eliza just loitering around, she accuses her of walking in uninvited.
Roo Receives a Spine-Chilling Wake-Up Call
Roo does not mince words and goes on to inquire as to what actually happened to Alf. Eliza, icy cold, states that if she actually had wanted to hurt him, she would have done a better job. That statement hurts, and all of Marilyn’s past threats begin to ring true.
Roo only now realizes that Eliza may not have been the innocent teenager she believed she was, and that possibly she actually would have let Alf die. It’s a turning point that alters everything for Roo.
Tensions Flare Elsewhere in the Bay
While that’s unfolding, Seb’s article about Kirby hits the web, and Mali’s not exactly painted in a flattering light. The write-up criticises how he runs the surf shop, especially his behaviour toward Kirby. Levi and Mackenzie stick up for him, but Abigail points out that he was rude to Kirby.
Mali’s upset that Abigail doesn’t take his side, and it clearly stings. Meanwhile, Mackenzie shares some personal news with Levi, she took a pregnancy test, but it came back negative. Levi tries to comfort her, reminding her they’ve only just started trying and to give it more time.
