The Home and Away star let fans in on her off-screen life during a chat with the Aussie Daily Mail. Roberts first spoke about a friendship that goes way back, and the person was her colleague on Neighbours. She added, “Another one of my best friends, Emily Weir, she’s from Home and Away.”
But don’t think Roberts is mingling with familiar faces! She has been vibing with the newer cast, too, all thanks to Emily, who’s a social butterfly with friends from different age groups. Furthermore, the soap diva dished on her 40th birthday when she had a casual little get-together on a boat in Sydney Harbour.
Guess what? The guest list was mostly H&A stars. “I get really close to people and value my friendships,” Sarah said. No wonder she gets along with everyone, but there’s another reason for these meaningful bonds. The star revealed what makes soap friendships feel extra special.

We’re talking international hits like Game of Thrones or Breaking Bad. However, Roberts’ grand plans have not made her forget about her Aussie roots just yet. She landed a role in Scrubland and would love to return to the Bay, which still has a piece of her heart.
“I’d love to. You know I would go back and do longer stints on both Home and Away and Neighbours,” Sarah teased. But then reality sank in, and the actress realized that Neighbours was not running anymore. Sad. Nevertheless, Roberts has a lot to look forward to, and we can’t wait to see her again on H&A!
