Home and Away spoilers welcome Martha Kate Morgan to play the troubled teen, Eliza. The character may seem like a foster kid needing a fresh start, but there’s something off about her. She arrives in Summer Bay after a house fire engulfs her entire family. However, the word on the street suggests that this little girl herself torched the house. OMG.
So, Roo needs to think again about whether she thought of having a happy ending with Eliza. FYI, the newcomer has been causing trouble since the day she set foot in Bay. Roo’s friend Marilyn Chambers has become Eliza’s favorite target. The usually sweet and bubbly Marilyn can’t shake the feeling that the teen is up to no good.
Her intuitions are spot on because H&A’s latest promo teases that Eliza could be an “explosive threat. In upcoming episodes, the character maintains her ugly side by making unsettling comments to Marilyn, leaving her shocked. Subsequently, she raises her concerns to Roo and admits she feels unsafe around Eliza. Roo’s reaction?

Roo brushes off the allegation but must realize that Marilyn isn’t the only one raising the alarm against Eliza. Furthermore, the teaser reveals that Eliza has a thing for lighters. The scene shows her holding a lighter with ominous music playing in the background. In fact, the trailer says it all: “It’s all about to explode.” We understand that Roo’s heart is in the right place to let Eliza into her life. But she had no idea what she was signing up for.
