Summer Bay’s favourite Jacqui was seen on the red carpet at the Sydney Film Festival recently. The actress took to her Instagram to post the glamorous pictures from the event. Well, Jacqui posed confidently in a shimmering crop top and mini skirt combo.
The former soap star also shared a second glamorous look from the event wall to thank the hosts at The Hollywood Reporter Australia. Her co-star Juliet Godwin who played Bree Cameran also commented, “STUNNING.”
Well, even fans were left flabbergasted by the actresses’ beauty with one saying, “Absolutely stunning, gorgeous and beautiful.” While another wrote, “Lordy…someone is trying to melt Insta..and is succeeding.” A third wrote, “Aussie GODDESSSTAR reigns forever.” Meanwhile, someone else commented, “Well aren’t you just a stunner!! Jacqui’s Final Chapter On Home and Away
Jacqui played Felicity Newman on the Australian show. Her character’s ending aired two years. Well, the actress was a part of Summer Bay for three years but later chose not to renew her contract. She even specifically requested that her character be killed off to give an impactful ending.
The storyline began when Felicity organised a surprise engagement party for her brother, Cash Newamn, and her best friend, Eden Fowler. Also, she danced with her ex-husband, Tane during the celebrations. However, their joy was short-lived.
Felicity abruptly collapsed to the floor in front of the guest. When she was rushed to the hospital, doctors learned that she had suffered a ‘catastrophic brain aneurysm’. In fact, tests confirmed that she was ‘brain-dead’ despite emergency medical intervention. Cash was devastated and refused to accept the reality. He still believed that his sister would wake up eventually.
However, when Tane visited him, Cash accepted the truth. Later, Cash was even permitted to switch off her life support machine.
