Nicholas Shared A Moving Tribute
Nicholas used his Instagram to share a deeply personal message from his time in the army. In fact, he used the traditional Anzac ode to remember those who served. Also, the actor expressed his love for all the fellow veterans. Later, he also shared a wish for a world that ‘no longer’ requires soldiers.
Nicholas captioned the post, “At the going down of the sun, and in the morning we will remember them. Lest we forget. From a veteran who hopes for a better world and has love in his heart for all his fellow veterans. One day may we not need soldiers. Until then, ‘duty first.”
Several of his co-stars also reacted to the post. The actor who plays Mali on the show commented, “We appreciate you, brother.” Meanwhile, one fan wrote, “Gosh, you looked so young Nick! Just a baby. Our country was built on men like you. Thank you for all you sacrificed, and the lives of the men who never made it home. Especially in these current times. We are all very grateful to you xx.” Another shared, “Omg. As it I didn’t fancy ‘Cash’ enough as it is, I then see he is a soldier.”
