Home and Away actress Angelina Thomson took a trip down ‘memory lane’ to celebrate her recent engagement. The star gathered with members of her bridal party at a very meaningful location.
They returned to the exact same restaurant where she and her partner shared their very first date 4.5 years ago. Meanwhile, here are the details from her celebration.
Angelina Thomson Celebrates Her Engagement
The beloved star shared some beautiful memories to celebrate their earlier engagement. Angelina and her partner, Lachlan, hosted their ‘engagement’ party at the restaurant where their relationship began years ago.
In the pictures posted, loved ones, friends and members of the upcoming bridal party stood together to snap a group selfie outside the venue. Even family members had joined in on the restaurant celebrations to support the couple’s happy milestone.
Angeline also shared pictures from the event on Instagram and wrote that she felt completely overflowing with love for her inner circle. Her fiance also commented on the post saying, “Oh I love you so much!! Forever with you.” Elsewhere, Angelina’s former co-stars Georgie Parker and Emily Weir too dropped heart emojis.
Even fans couldn’t help but adore the beautiful couple with one saying, “You guys deserve the best of everything life has to offer.” Another shared, “So special! Hope you guys had the best time celebrating your love!! Ps. You are a flipping STUNNER!” Elsewhere, someone else said, “Congrats looks like a beautiful day,” while another wrote, “Congratulations, you are just so beautiful miss watching you on Home and Away.”
Angelina’s Final Stint In Home and Away
Angelina played Kirby Aramoana on the show for nearly three years. After she tried to manage the band Lyrik’s creative future, Kirby decided to move ahead towards a solo career path. We also know Remi stepped in to produce her debut solo album.
However, the launch party had created tension within the group. Kirby was hurt by the lyrics of an emotionally raw track that she wrote about her departure. But the remaining members boycotted her launch and left her feeling lonely despite her growing fame.
But soon the tables turned when a successful touring band named The Chosen reached out to formally offer her a permanent spot to join them on their upcoming tour. Later, Kirby revealed to her friends that she had to leave the very next day.
We also got to see her tearful goodbye on the beach with her best friend, Eden Fowler. After which she departed Summer Bay on a year-long tour across Europe.
