Home and Away Star Melissa Welcomes Her Fourth Child At 49
The veteran Australian actress, who is well-known for prominent roles in shows like Alias, broke the happy news to her followers. She shared an incredibly intimate social media post. Now, this addition has expanded her family and the television star is now a proud mum to four beautiful sons.
Melissa recently opened up during a sit-down with Stellar and outlined unique approaches to raising multiple boys. She has refused to compete with others and chooses to act entirely with love. Melissa shared, “I have to be honest, I’ve never been a real feminist. I don’t fight for it. I just stand as an elegant woman, and that speaks enough. What am I gonna compete with a male? Men are fantastic. Go ahead, do your man thing. I’ll do my woman thing.”
The movie star wants to provide great household memories and wholesome food adding, “I don’t compete, I just act with love. I want [my sons] to have good memories of a female figure in their lives. And I want them to have tummies full of the best food. I want them to respect women, of course, but respect men, too.”

Melissa had previously kept her third pregnancy hidden. That child, Lyor, arrived in March 2024 with a message saying, “Welcome to the world my little man,” followed by, “Love knows no end. A mother of 3 sons. Cannot believe it. My heart is so full.”
Elsewhere, Melissa George played Angel Parrish on Home and Away. Her final major storyline was defined by the heartbreaking death of her husband, Shane Parrish. After his death, Angel left Summer Bay with her children to start a new life.
She left the show in 1996, but she did return to the franchise to feature in the show’s 30th anniversary in 2018. After which, she moved to the United States.
