Home and Away Star Sophie Struggles To Choose A Final Wedding Destination
Sophei has revealed the latest updates regarding her upcoming marriage to Patrick O’Connor. The popular television couple played Ziggy Astoni and Dean Thompson before exiting Summer Bay in 2023. In fact, the two had also celebrated a romantic beach proposal last December.
And now, Sophie is opening up about how difficult it is to organise the perfect ceremony. Also, the countdown to the big day officially begins as the actress reflects on a six-month engagement that started on ‘Queens Beach’ in Sydney. Before the proposal, the couple also had a temporary long-distance relationship when Sophie worked in the UK, and Patrick stayed in Australia.
The pair also travelled across Europe and America, which brought numerous creative ideas for their upcoming nuptials. And when they explored gorgeous destinations abroad, one specific Mediterranean location stood out and was an incredibly strong contender for the event.
Sophie revealed, “In Greece a hotel so took me that looked like it was straight out of Mamma Mia- you know, blue and white, covered in bougainvillaea and with the best Greek desert we have ever eaten- that I got as far as asking for the price to hire it for the weekend.” The bride-to-be confessed that they researched various global spots. But, “Although all of those ideas are brilliant, and we would be thrilled with any of them, to this day, we still have no idea what we are actually going to do.”
Patrick And Sophie Put Strict Requirements For An Unconventional Celebration
The couple do not want to rush into traditional arrangements. Hence, they have planned a clear list of priorities to guide their preparation. Elsewhere, there is also a major requirement for the wedding where they want to ensure that all of their grandparents are physically present to witness the celebration.
