Emmerdale viewers have watched Kylie cause chaos in the village this week, but it looks like her story may already be coming to an end.
Actor Pippa Fulton has shared a message about her time on the soap after the dramatic kidnapping storyline, while one of her co-stars has publicly said he hopes she returns. Scroll down for more information.
Pippa Fulton Hints At Kylie’s Exit
Pippa Fulton joined Emmerdale this week as Kylie, the woman who kidnapped Lewis Barton to force his father, Kev Townsend, to return a stolen diamond. Her arrival brought plenty of drama as Ross Barton and Kev raced to save Lewis before it was too late.
In Thursday’s episode, Kylie continued to pressure Ross and Kev by demanding the diamond in exchange for Lewis’s safe return. Kev managed to get the diamond back, but Ross decided he could no longer trust him. He knocked Kev unconscious before carrying on with the plan.
Friday’s episode will see Ross take the diamond to rescue Lewis while bringing the unconscious Kev with him. However, Fulton has now hinted that this could be the end of Kylie’s story. Sharing behind-the-scenes photos on Instagram, she wrote, “Hi I’m KYLIE!! Catch her causing havoc all this week on EMMERDALE!!!”. Her words seem to suggest that Kylie was only meant to appear during this week’s episodes.
Pippa Fulton Thanks Her Emmerdale Co-Stars
Along with the photos, Fulton thanked the cast members she worked with and said they made her feel very welcome on set. She had kind words for Bradley Riches, who plays Lewis Barton.
“@brad_riches you were like an old friend after being in your presence for an hour, and I felt like we’d been friends in another life! What a dream and an inspiration you are! And you had this old bird Tick Tocking!! To be continued haha…”
Fulton also thanked Chris Coghill, who plays Kev Townsend. She wrote, “@official_chriscoghill what an absolute honour to play along side you, you made my lifelong hardcore Emmerdale mad mum so happy when she received a video message from you & Mike… what ledges.”
