ITV Schedule Changes See Emmerdale And Coronation Street Dropped Again!
The soap viewers weren’t able to see the soap’s episode tonight. ITV dropped its soaps from their usual Thursday timings. Both Coronation Street and Emmerdale saw schedule shake-ups. Meanwhile, earlier this year, the new power hour led the two shows to air between 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. on weekdays. However, for the second time this week, the soaps were axed.
The reason for the schedule change was sports coverage. Furthermore, even on Tuesday, both the soaps were off-air due to football. Thus, the start of the Six Nations has disrupted the soaps again. The broadcaster showed the opening match of the Rugby tournament. France welcomed Ireland to Paris. The match aired at 7:30 p.m. and continued till the rest of the evening.

However, there is good news for fans. ITV does not have coverage of the Winter Olympics. Thus, there will be more disruption for at least this week. Both the soaps will be back tomorrow. Emmerdale will air at 8 p.m. The soap drama will continue Paddy and Moira’s storylines. The soap fans know that both characters have been in huge trouble.
The trailer confirms in Friday’s instalment that Paddy tries to control the situation while Cain visits Moira. Furthermore, Gabby and Lydia are shocked. Thus, the soap fans wonder – Will Cain disclose the truth to Moira? Meanwhile, after half an hour, Coronation Street will air at 8:30 p.m.
