The Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton, made a rare public appearance as she attended a church service with royal family members in Balmoral. She was spotted on her way to Crathie Kirk church on Sunday alongside her husband, Prince William, and their elder son, George. Royal fans know that the Princess has been undergoing her preventative chemotherapy and has taken a break from public duties.

Furthermore, she has been largely absent from responsibilities this year as she recovers from an undisclosed form of cancer. This visit to Crathie church was Kate’s first public appearance since she showed up in Wimbledon. For the occasion, Kate wore a checkered brown coat from Holland and accessorised it with a dark brown fedora hat and beautiful gold earrings.
The royal mother-of-three’s outfit became a centre of discussion between several royal fans. It looks like they are all confused about Kate’s wintery attire, given that it is summer season in the Northern Hemisphere currently. One of them wrote, “So it’s cold year-round in the UK?” while another added, “Is it Autumn weather already?” To clear the whole confusion, let’s understand what is actually happening!
Although the average temperature in London in summer is around 23C, Scotland is a bit colder than other places. As per the weather forecast, Aberdeenshire on Sunday was clumsy, with a high of 16C and a low of 9C, which is why Kate Middleton, Queen Camilla, and the Duchess of Edinburgh were dressed in coats and jackets.

This comes after the Prince and Princess of Wales were captured while on their way to Crathie Church. This place has been a regular place of worship for the royal family during their stays at Balmoral for over a century.
For the unversed, a private service was held there in Sept 2022 after the death of Queen Elizabeth II, and the royals were also seen there in 1997 after Diana passed away.
