Prince William And Kate Middleton Attend Wimbledon Final With Kids
Kate Middleton and Prince William attended the Wimbledon men’s singles final on Sunday with their two eldest children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte.
The family took their seats in the Royal Box at Centre Court as Italy’s Jannik Sinner faced Germany’s Alexander Zverev in the championship match.
The crowd warmly welcomed the royals as they entered the Royal Box. According to People, spectators gave the family a standing ovation before they settled in to watch Sinner defeat Zverev and claim his second straight Wimbledon title.
Prince Louis did not join his parents and siblings for the occasion. The youngest of the Wales children was absent while George and Charlotte once again represented the family at one of Britain’s biggest sporting events.
Kate Continues Her Royal Wimbledon Duties As Patron
Kate’s appearance at the men’s final came after a busy weekend at Wimbledon. As patron of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club since 2016, she presented the Gentlemen’s Singles Trophy to Jannik Sinner following his championship victory.
Only a day earlier, the Princess of Wales attended the women’s singles final, where she presented the Venus Rosewater Dish to champion Linda Noskova. She had also visited Wimbledon earlier in the tournament to watch a second-round match, continuing her long-standing support for the event.
Her appearances at this year’s tournament followed several public outings in recent months and highlighted her ongoing connection to Wimbledon, where she has remained one of the championship’s most recognizable royal figures.
