Meghan’s Return Has Reportedly Left Kate Middleton Feeling Uneasy
According to Heat, Kate Middleton is “an incredibly forgiving person,” but an insider claimed that “there has been so much hurt stirred up over the years by Meghan, it’s impossible for her to simply forget everything and move on overnight.”
The source said Kate wants to support King Charles III’s efforts to reconnect with Prince Harry. However, the insider added, “There’s no denying that having Meghan there makes things worlds more complicated for her.”
The report also claimed Kate has “always had a soft spot” for Harry, but believes Meghan’s presence changes everything. “If Harry was coming on his own it would be a very different story,” the insider said.
“It’s Meghan’s involvement that changes the dynamic completely. As much as Kate wants this peace, it’s impossible not to worry about what chaos Meghan will bring.”
Past Tensions Are Reportedly Still Affecting The Royal Relationships
The insider claimed Kate’s anxiety comes from years of difficult moments involving Meghan. These include the disagreement before Harry and Meghan’s 2018 wedding, which Meghan later discussed during her interview with Oprah Winfrey.
Harry also revisited those incidents in his memoir, Spare. He wrote that he found Meghan “on the floor” in tears after one disagreement with Kate. He also described other uncomfortable moments between the two women, including a dispute over a comment about “baby brain” and the now well-known lip gloss incident.
According to the report, the Sussexes’ public criticism of the royal family over the years has also made it harder for Kate to move past the past. Although Harry’s planned family visit to Britain is now uncertain after his security request was denied, the report claims Kate remains worried about Meghan’s possible return.
