Kate Middleton, the royal Princess of Wales, has faced significant health challenges throughout her life, a new royal biography has revealed. As if battling cancer wasn’t enough, the future Queen has had a difficult childhood in regards to her health. According to Robert Jobson’s latest book, ‘Catherine, the Princess of Wales,’ Kate underwent emergency surgery as a teenager to remove a lump from her head. Read on to know more about it!
Princess Of Wales Had A Difficult Childhood-Healthwise!
A new royal biography by Robert Jobson reveals that the royal mother-of-two had to go through surgery during her teenage days, which left a three-inch scar. Jobson, while mentioning the incident in his book, wrote, As a teenager, however, when at Marlborough College, she discovered a lump on the left side of her head, just under her hairline. The school notified her parents immediately, and her mother Carole took her to hospital, where she had surgery to remove it.”
Furthermore, this operation left Kate with a three-inch scar, which was first noticed during her initial solo engagement two decades ago. Buckingham Palace subsequently released a brief statement later explaining it and said, “The scar is related to a childhood operation.” This news comes after the princess was diagnosed with cancer this year after planned abdominal surgery.
In a poignant video released in March, Kate Middleton explained that despite initial hopes that her condition was not cancerous, she has since been undergoing preventative chemotherapy. She also shared her solidarity with others affected by the diseases and explained how she would remain out of public eye for the forseeable future while she undergoes her treatment.

The Princess of Wales also expressed her gratitude for the overwhelming love and support she has received from across the globe in the heartfelt message. Royal fans recently saw their favourite royal making her first public appearance this year at King’s official birthday parade in June.
