The Monarch Is Concerned About His Estranged Son
King Charles III is worried about his youngest son’s finances, according to a new book. The 75-year-old monarch is reportedly concerned about what will happen once Prince Harry spends the millions of dollars he earned from a slate of business deals that he and wife Meghan signed with companies like Netflix and Spotify. This claim is just one of many salacious tidbits in royal correspondent Robert Jobson’s new biography about Kate Middleton, titled, ‘Catherine: The Princess of Wales.’

According to a recent report by PEOPLE Magazine, Harry and Charles are not even speaking to each other. Now, Jobson alleges in an excerpt of his book that the ‘Harry problem’ is still ruining things for the worried father even after trying to keep his distance.
The Harry problem, as it is known among Palace staff, continues to plague the King. A palace official said, “What worries His Majesty and his top team is what is going to happen when all the money runs out.” Jobson also added that the Sussex are trying to find an income stream that doesn’t involve dishing the dirt on the Royal Family.
Robert also claims that there is a ‘Sussex-shaped void in the Royal Firm,’ one which ‘has never loomed so large,’ referring to the family’s loss of both star power and manpower that resulted from Harry and Meghan stepping down from their positions as senior working royals. Despite struggling with manpower, the author highlighted that William will not agree to help Sussexes in the future in any way or form.

However, King Charles might not be of the same opinion, as a father is always a father. The veteran royal reporter shed some light on this, too, and said that Charles will never shut the door on Harry. Even though there have been recent reports about Harry’s calls going unanswered, if problems get bigger, his father will definitely come to his rescue.
The father-son duo have been at odds about finances for years. In the Sussexes’ explosive 2021 interview with Oprah Winfrey, Harry mentioned that his father ‘literally cut me off financially.’
