Also, this incident happened shortly after King Charles and senior working royals attended a ‘ceremonial performance’

Now, Buckingham Palace has stated that the monarch was left ‘shocked and saddened’ by the sudden loss of the troop member. We got to know that the service person had sustained critical injuries when he left the main arena. And despite immediate medical intervention from paramedics he passed away at the scene. Now, the Thames Valley Police have begun an investigation into the circumstances. They called the sudden death unexplained but non-suspicious with no signs of ‘foul’ play.

Also, senior royals were present on the grounds during the event. However, the palace confirmed that the family was not aware of the situation’s severity. They only learnt about it in the evening. But the show’s organisers said that the remaining schedule would go ahead as planned. However, all remaining artillery military displays were removed from the program.

King Charles Was Shocked By The Incident

Elsewhere, even officials have confirmed that a veterinary team had assessed the horse involved in the incident. In fact, he was completely ‘uninjured’. Even Chief Superintendent Michael Loebenberg asked the public for any footage or witness descriptions. This could help the Defence Accident Investigation Branch reconstruct the moments that led to the fall.
