King Charles III recently visited Northern Ireland with Queen Camilla. Their two-day trip attracted the attention of the royal fans. During the visit, the monarch faced bird droppings. King Charles Reacts To Bird Dropping Incident With Surprising Humour!

King Charles III and Queen Camilla visited Northern Ireland. Both of them took on separate engagements in different towns during their two-day tour. They both were in County Down, with Camilla meeting local businesses in Hillsborough and King travelling the seaside town of Newcastle on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, during a walkabout in Newcastle, bird droppings landed on the back of the monarch’s jacket. He joked that at least it didn’t land on his head. Then a member of the crowd added that it was a sign of good luck. King Charles III smiled. 

Elsewhere, the King began his day receiving a VIP movie ticket while joining film fans at Newcastle’s Community Cinema. Then he visited the Pantry Foodbank at Donard Methodist Church. The monarch praised the foodbank volunteers and even helped pack the boxes of groceries. 

Queen Camilla Visits A Pub!

Meanwhile, Queen Camilla assisted in pouring a pint of Guinness at the Parson’s Nose pub and restaurant in Hillsborough. While pouring the pint, she said that she is not an expert in this, but her husband is an expert. Everyone clapped for her.

Elsewhere, it is King’s 43rd visit to Northern Ireland. Earlier, he visited the place as the Prince of Wales, while now he visited as a king. The announcement was made on Monday that the King is due to make his first visit to the Republic of Ireland since becoming the King. However, no date has been confirmed. But the visit might take place next year. 

Irish President, Catherine Connolly, who is currently on an official visit to England, gave the invitation. Meanwhile, Queen Elizabeth II visited Ireland in 2011 while the King first visited Northern Ireland in 1961 with his mother, his father and his sister.
