The drama begins when a body is discovered just as Lisa’s personal life reaches an important moment. Earlier this year, the show confirmed that a villain would be killed off, setting up a big mystery.
Five possible victims were named: Carl Webster, Jodie Ramsey, Maggie Driscoll, Megan Walsh, and Theo Silverton. Each one has their own story, which makes the situation harder to understand.

Lisa Struggles To Balance Work And Family

Vicky Myers explained that Lisa will support Betsy during this difficult time. At the same time, she has to return to work, even though she had planned time off for her honeymoon. Lisa steps back into her role as DS Swain, now also called DS Lisa Connor-Swain.
Lisa is ready to work again. She has been feeling a bit disconnected and under pressure, so she wants to get involved in the case. Vicky said the case is “extremely complicated” because there are many suspects. Lisa does not want to rush. She wants to take her time and solve it properly.
There is more pressure at the police station now. DI Costello is gone, and a new detective inspector has taken charge. This new boss wants everything done by the book and is keeping a close eye on Lisa, Kit Green, and the rest of the team. There is no space for mistakes.
