Megan Gets Proof Against Maggie in Corrie
Thursday’s episode shows a major change in the ongoing fight between Megan and Maggie. Their issues have been building for weeks, but Megan finally gains control after overhearing an important conversation in the Rovers’ back yard. She quickly records it without anyone noticing.
The moment happens after Maggie argues with Melanie, who is Will Driscoll’s mother. Melanie wants to take Will to Scotland with her because she believes the Driscoll family did not protect him from Megan’s behavior. Maggie strongly disagrees and does not want Will to leave.
Melanie then makes things serious. She tells Maggie to convince Ben to let Will go, or she will reveal something damaging. This turns the conversation into a clear threat, leaving Maggie with very few options.
Maggie’s Past Comes Back To Haunt Her
Melanie brings up the truth about Alan’s death. She reminds Maggie that Finlay saw what really happened that night. Maggie has always said it was an accident, but Melanie makes it clear that Finlay remembers it differently.
She explains that Finlay still struggles with what he saw. According to her, he saw Maggie push Alan, not fall by accident. She even says he still has flashbacks and could be dealing with trauma. Ben does not know any of this, which makes things even harder for Maggie.
As Maggie tries to deal with this, Megan steps in and reveals what she has done. She tells Maggie that she heard everything and recorded the conversation. Megan says, “You attacked me, trashed my name. But it turns out, you’re the liar. Hypocrite. Murderer.”
