Meghan Markle Uses Her Acting Talent!
Meghan Markle was spotted at Los Angeles’ Children’s Hospital. The Duchess of Sussex surprised patients and staff during the hospital’s monthlong campaign, Make March Matter, last month. The event aims to support children’s health by bringing individuals and businesses together.
She greeted kids with hugs and handshakes. Furthermore, Meghan Markle also took Polaroid pictures with patients after leading a Literally Healing session on March 21. Literally Healing is a reading program that gifts famines at the Children’s Hospital with more than 6,500 books each year.
Furthermore, the Duchess of Sussex also showed her acting skills by playing a character, making children laugh and sing. She read some of the patients’ favourite books, including Rosie the Riveter, Pete the Cat, and I Saw a Cat. The Duchess of Sussex also took part in STEAM activities with patients, including colouring, problem-solving and counting numbers. The hospital ward was also decorated in a way that it looked like a beautiful night sky.
Meghan Markle Is The Author Of The Bench!
Elsewhere, the royal fans know that Meghan Markle is the author of a children’s book. She published a book, The Bench, in 2021. It was inspired by Prince Harry and Archie. It is about the special bond between father and son as seen through the mother’s eyes.
Meanwhile, the Duchess of Sussex explained that the book started as a poem she wrote for her husband on Father’s Day, which was the month after Archie was born. That poem became the story. Christian Robinson added beautiful watercolour illustrations to show the warmth of the bond between fathers and sons.
