Natalie Teases EastEnders Return Date
The legendary soap icon Natalie Cassidy has dropped a major hint regarding a potential return to the historic show after a year away from television cameras. The actress has now reflected on her multi-decade career and shares some amusing details about a chaotic exit storyline.
As we know, the entertainment veteran left Albert Square back in April last year. Natalie had realised a strong desire to be brave and explore other career paths outside the standard broadcasting. Also, the 43-year-old artist noted a distinct pattern in her employment history as she started at age 10 before completing two separate 12-year stints.
Natalie then jokingly hints that the iconic Sonia Fowler might pick up an infamous trumpet and head back to the neighbourhood in 2033 to complete the pattern. She revealed, “So maybe I will go back in eight years you never know do you?” Elsewhere, Natalie poked fun at the incredibly unrealistic exit storyline, which saw the fictional nurse jet off to Bali with a newborn infant.
Well, the star laughed about the fact that the tiny character travelled halfway across the world at just two days old without an official passport or a registered birth certificate. However, despite the impossibilities, the documentary host shrugs off the creative writing choice, saying that absolutely anything can happen in the soap world.

The actor also spoke about modern beauty standards and cosmetic operations during an appearance on the Please Keep Me Anonymous podcast. Natlaie confirms a total refusal to touch ‘Botox’ or any form of anti-ageing facial injections throughout a lengthy career in the public eye.
Also, the star confidently predicted a fortune in the future because natural, unaltered ageing will eventually become a rare sight in the industry. However, Natalie revealed one major physical modification from much earlier in life that she regrets.
She had undergone ‘breast augmentation surgery’ around 20 years ago to balance out a naturally curvier lower body shape. Now as a mother, when she looks back, she is frustrated regarding the body-image message sent to the younger generation.
