EastEnders Legend Navin Talks About His Exit
Nish Panesar’s reign of terror in Walford has come to an explosive end, leaving EastEnders shocked. Last week, Nish attempted to wreak havoc by disrupting Suki and Eve’s wedding after escaping from prison. The sinister resident was able to harm several people, including Suki, Eve, and Denise. But, he met with his tragic fate after Ravi Gulati pushed him off the balcony, and he immediately passed away.
While Nish’s downfall played out in iconic TV drama scenes, the man behind the manipulative patriarch, Navin Chowdhry, has now opened up about his exit. He said, ‘I have loved it. My last day of filming was a very emotional one. God forbid if they put the behind-the-scenes footage out.’ He also mentioned that many of his co-stars got quite emotional on his last day on set.
When asked about his favorite storyline, the popular star said, ‘My favourite would have to be the Sixmas story. That was a flagship event for the whole show.’ The star also highlighted how that storyline was massive, and the whole team received a lot of love and appreciation for the same. We know that The Six storyline saw Linda stabbing Keanu Taylor to death while saving her best friend, Sharon.

Navin’s co-stars also took to social media and paid tribute to the talented actor for his work on the BBC soap. Shiv Jalota, aka Vinny Panesar, shared a picture with Navin and called him a mentor, friend, father, and brother. Along with Jalota, Balvinder Sopal also shared a heartfelt message for her on-screen ex-husband. The actress branded Navin as a ‘phenomenal actor,’ and he sure is.
