Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will be celebrating Christmas at the Montecito mansion along with Markle’s mother, Doria Ragland, as per The Post. It seems like the couple have once again been left out from the guest list to the royal family’s annual get-together at Sandringham House – leading them to plan their own celebration for the festive season. So, The Duke and Duchess, along with their children, will stay in the States.
Royal watchers know that the duo has been in the US for the holidays for the past few years after stepping down from the royal family. A source said Meghan and Harry are hoping to make the day ‘extra special’ for their kids and that they weren’t expecting an invite from Harry’s family. Although the duo did receive an invitation to spend the festival with Prince Harry’s uncle at Althorp House, they turned it down.

While speaking to the Closer, the source claimed that the biggest issue coming between Prince Harry and Meghan’s visit to the UK is security. They said, “Both Harry and Meghan agree that they shouldn’t return to the U.K. until the security arrangements are resolved.” Following the security issue, the duo could return to Harry’s home ground more often. While the father-of-two keeps visiting the UK frequently, Meghan hasn’t been there since 2022.
Now that the Sussexes are all set to celebrate holidays with Meghan’s mother, royal expert Jennie Bond shed light on it and highlighted that most women like to be with their moms on Christmas Day.
