Royal fans know that Harry spoke about this scenario in his memoir, Spare, where he revealed that King Charles had asked his son to leave the royal residence. This obviously affected Harry and left him baffled, according to a royal expert. In addition, Harry’s return for the tenth anniversary of the Invictus Games in May this year is now being considered as his ‘final goodbye’ to royal life.
The loss of Frogmore Cottage reportedly left Prince Harry feeling ‘deeply wounded’, and he regarded the saga as another nail in the coffin of his chances of ending this feud. Amid the Duke being persistent about living in the US and King Charles dealing with so much, including his fight with cancer, the reunion of this family seems next to impossible.
While speaking about this scenario to The Mirror, royal expert Tom Quinn said, “But even if Harry begged to be allowed back to help out – even if his father King Charles became so ill he was unable to carry out his duties – whatever happens, the call to help will never go out to Montecito. Making the US his primary residence is Harry’s final goodbye.” This comes after Mr. Quinn highlighted that Harry took the ‘last straw’ when he and Meghan were evicted from their royal home.
