According to an expert, Prince Harry wants to branch away from producing Netflix documentaries and is looking at a return as a senior working royal. This comes after the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been undergoing a ‘professional separation’ and handling things to their new working dynamic while making sure that one parent remains in LA with their kids.
Earlier this month, the couple appeared in a joint statement video where the Duke mentioned that they’re at a ‘crossroads.’ And now, royal writer Richard Eden has spoken to GB News and claimed that Palace sources have made clear that Prince Harry wants to come back and join the royal family to make a massive difference in his charitable work. One of the sources told Eden, “Harry’s heart is not in the TV stuff – anyone can see that.”

The royal expert also believed that the Prince’s absence from the upcoming polo series’ suggests that he wants to step away from the Netflix scene. The trailer only features his and Meghan’s name in a production credit reading “executive produced by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.” Richard also highlighted that after the announcement of King’s cancer came to light, his younger son was willing to take on a temporary royal role to support his father.
Even though his offer was never taken up, the Duke is looking forward to spending more time in his homeland.
