They lived there until announcing their decision to step down from the royal world in 2020.
Now, Prince Harry and Meghan are understood to have splashed out on a new property in Portugal, according to the MailOnline. Many believe that this expensive purchase will allow the Sussexes to get their hands on a ‘Golden Visa,’ giving them visa-free access to the European Union’s Schengen area, which will give them in countries such as Europe without any restriction.

The Duke becomes the second homeowner in Portugal from the royal family as Princess Eugenie also owns a luxurious property in CostaTerra Golf and Ocean Club, situated by the sea in Melides, south of Lisbon, according to the outlet. Harry and Meghan acquired the property more than a year after they were evicted from Windsor. At the time, an insider told the US Sun that the 75-year-old king asked Harry to leave before his bombshell memoir.
