The Prince Of Wales Is Furious At His Brother!
The Prince of Wales is allegedly irritated with Harry and Meghan for not being able to wish Kate properly after her cancer diagnosis. Friends of Prince William and Kate Middleton have claimed that Willy took offence at the estranged royal couple after they publicly referred to his wife as ‘Kate’ rather than ‘Catherine.’ They added that William was particularly annoyed when the Sussexes called his wife ‘Kate’ when they sent get well soon messages after her cancer diagnosis.
This comes after some insiders have claimed that Harry and Meghan referring to the Princess of Wales as Kate was unnecessary and out of deliberate irritation. This may have contributed to William and Kate’s refusal to respond to their expressions of sympathy.
The Princess of Wales has long let it be known that she prefers to be called Catherine, as per William’s old friend. It is the name her friends and family use, the name William uses in private, and how she introduces herself to others.

Even though she was widely known as Kate at school and university, she made a deliberate switch to her full name, Catherine, shortly before marrying the love of her life. A source claimed to the Daily Beast that Prince William was annoyed when the Sussexes’ chose to refer to the Princess as Kate in a March 2024 statement released after Kate’s announced her battle with cancer.
One of William and Kate’s friends also highlighted that Kate’s wish to be called Catherine is a simple one. He also reflected that Meghan wouldn’t like it if William started publicly calling her ‘Meghan Markle.’
