Roo decides it’s time to talk to Harper about what really happened when Alf needed his pills. Harper’s surprised, she hadn’t thought anything was off. But when Tane brings up the video Eliza filmed while Harper was giving birth, it’s clear something’s not adding up.
Harper’s shocked. She never knew about the video, and now she’s wondering what else Eliza was hiding. Tane checks Eliza’s phone log and discovers that she never even tried to call for help that day, despite saying her phone battery was dead. Suddenly, all the strange behaviour starts to look intentional.
Roo Gets the Chilling Truth in Home and Away
Later at home, Roo decides to take another look through Eliza’s music box, and what she finds sends a chill down her spine. Inside, there’s a photo of Harper in labour and Alf’s missing heart pills. With the evidence in hand, Roo sits Eliza down for a straight conversation.
Eliza doesn’t hold back. She calmly says she might’ve wanted Alf to die. And when Roo presses her on the other things she’s lied about, Eliza admits she made it all up. No panic, no confusion, just lies. It’s the moment Roo realises this teen’s behaviour is dangerous.
Mali Faces the Fallout of a Damaging Article
Over at the board shop, Mali’s still upset about Seb’s article, especially since Abigail didn’t jump to his defence. He shuts her out when she offers help, but Mackenzie isn’t letting him sulk in silence, she calls him out for letting his ego get in the way.
Eventually, Abigail finds a way through. She gets him talking, and Mali finally admits he’s been struggling to manage everything alone. With things out in the open, the two finally reconnect. It’s a small moment but it could mean a fresh start for both of them.
