Over the last six years, many changes, including Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s decision to step back from royal duties, King Charles becoming the king and Andrew’s Epstein scandal, have changed public opinion.
Furthermore, beyond the controversy, King Charles and Kate Middleton also disclosed their respective cancer diagnosis in 2024. The Princess of Wales confirmed that she was in remission. Meanwhile, King is still undergoing treatment.
Elsewhere, a fresh poll is conducted by the public, which places the royal family in order from least popular to most admired. The Channel 5 programme explored reputation, duty, scandal and scrutiny.
