The soap fans know that Steph Miligan entered the soap as Ruby and Caleb Miligan’s daughter. She has been a part of many dark plots. Last year, the character learned that Anthony had abused Ruby. Thus, Ruby killed him. She started to hate herself when she learned that she was born out of abuse.
Steph even wanted to get surgery, but her parents stopped her. Later, she also broke up with Ross as he had slept with Manpreet. After that, Steph took an extended trip to Italy to get relief from her problems. However, in real life, Georgia Jay, who plays Steph, is on maternity leave. In April, it was reported that she had decided not to come back and concentrate on being a mother.
Steph Is All Settled Now!
Though viewers thought she would return, after tonight’s episode, they found out that they shouldn’t expect her back. Steph is playing a key role in a new storyline. However, the soap fans shouldn’t get their hopes up for an in-person appearance. When Ruby visited Woolpack, she observed how much Caleb had been missing Steph.
When Caleb asked whether Steph would be back, Ruby said that she wasn’t sure. She revealed that Steph has a new boyfriend, and they are enjoying their holiday in Thailand. Ruby also asked Chas not to tell Caleb about it, as he would be concerned for her.
Elsewhere, Archie created a fake AI version of Steph’s voice to scam Caleb. He tricked him by asking £5000 for a flat in London. Caleb sent the money as he was unaware of the fraudulent account made by Archie. Caleb doesn’t know that his daughter is in Thailand. The soap watchers wonder – Will he learn the truth?
