The additional tracks include Dreamin, Grateful, Alienated, My Woman, How It Feels, Stardust, Gates of Hell, Birds On A Cloud, Concrete Kisses, False Starts, The Time, Something In The Water, Shoot At Will, and Fuchsia Sea. In a recent interview, Zayn revealed that the tracks are close to his heart.
This is because his daughter, Khai, inspired Zayn’s fourth album. He told The Zane Lowe Show that when he was recording, he spent his time away from his daughter. So, he wanted to make this album perfect and wanted to avoid adding wishy-washy music to it. Zayn Malik also opened up about today’s music.
He said that nowadays, songs are more about beats and tunes. However, people are searching for lyrics, and their search will stop soon. Zayn’s Room Under The Stairs is more about his love life, his relationship with a mysterious ex, possibly Gigi Hadid, and his daughter Khai.
During the interview, Zayn also opened up about his love life. He revealed that he had never experienced love in his life. Though his relationship with Gigi Hadid has been the most talked-about relationship of the singer, he denied falling in love.
This further left fans wondering whether it was a PR stunt for his album, Room Under The Stairs. However, Zayn stated it was a phase that is gone now. Maybe his relationship with Gigi Hadid was plutonic.
Speaking of his album, Room Under The Stairs has just hit Spotify, so don’t miss it. But it isn’t the only big project on which Zayn was working. Variety reported that Zayn was gearing up for his next big project—the animated film 10 Lives.
The movie featured Zayn Malik and Bridgerton star Simone Ashley. Malik played ‘tough-guy twins Cameron and Kirk,’ while Ashley played a student named Rose. 10 Lives was released on January 20, 2024.
