Kate Middleton and Prince William reportedly shared a royal meeting with Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce in London before the singer and NFL star tied the knot on July 3.

Kate & William Met Taylor Swift And Travis Kelce For The First Time
PEOPLE confirmed that Kate and William secretly met Swift and Kelce in London ahead of the wedding. The private gathering is believed to have marked Kate’s first royal meeting with the singer and the Kansas City Chiefs star.
The royal meeting likely happened in May, when Swift and Kelce were spending time in England. Around the same period, William discussed the possibility of appearing on the New Heights podcast, which Travis hosts with his brother Jason Kelce.
During a radio interview that month, William also sparked speculation about whether he and Kate might attend the couple’s July 3 wedding at Madison Square Garden in New York.
Asked whether he had received an invitation, William smiled and replied, “no comment,” drawing laughter in the studio. He then added, “I’m hoping, and I’m sure there might be an invitation around, but we’ll see.”
A Surprise Podcast Episode Offered Another Clue
Despite William’s playful response, PEOPLE reported on June 30 that he and Kate would not attend the wedding.
However, news of the secret meeting, first reported by The Telegraph, later appeared to connect with a surprise New Heights podcast episode released just hours before the ceremony.
During the episode, Travis told William, “I got the chance to see you not too long ago and invited you on the show because we were talking a little Aston Villa soccer, some excitement about the World Cup.” The podcast filming took place a few days after England played Croatia on June 17.
