Charity Doesn’t Fully Support Sarah’s IVF Plan!
Sarah Sugden decided to have a baby through IVF. But during her eligibility tests, she found out that she had cervical cancer. However, the doctors informed her that she could still have a baby. When she shared her concern about the sperm donor to Jacob, he told her that he would be her sperm donor. Though Sarah was afraid to tell her family about all this, Jacob ended up telling Cain Dingle, making him furious.
In Thursday’s episode, Sarah and Jacob talked before her operation. Sarah said that it was calm before the storm. Meanwhile, Charity told Cain to stop talking about the IVF plan and focus on Sarah’s operation. As Eric scolded Jacob, Sarah told Charity that she had supported her a lot. Charity said that it was her instinct to protect her. However, Sarah sensed that Charity didn’t fully support her IVF plan.
Sarah’s Dream Shatters!
Charity said that she wouldn’t understand her choice and even called it a stupid dream. Sarah felt bad and took back all the nice things she said to her. Then, Charity told Cain that she was regretful for her words. Cain told her that Sarah had to make her own decisions. Later, the story took a turn when the surgeon informed the pair that the operation didn’t go as planned.
Charity and Cain were by the mechanic’s bedside when the surgeon informed them of the sad news. The doctor first informed Sarah that there was no indication that the cancer had spread. Then she told her that due to Fanconi Anaemia, her blood vessels were fragile. They could tie off the vessels that supplied the uterus. She had a haemorrhage and they had to perform a hysterectomy.
