Many hearts broke when Krista Allen bid adieu to The Bold and The Beautiful as Taylor. For many decades the Brooke -Ridge -Taylor love triangle served as the backbone for the popular CBS daytime drama. However, back in December 2023, Krista opened admitted that she was fired from the soap.
Speaking to the media, The Bold and The Beautiful narrated the bizarre tale of how it all played out. “I did the cast photo shoot, and then the next week they called and said, ‘We’re not going to keep your third year… you were wonderful and thank you, goodbye!” Krista claimed.
Now, it has been months since we have seen the gorgeous actress and her character-Taylor on the soap. And honestly her presence is being sorely missed by thousands of The Bold and The Beautiful fans. She is a tremendous performer, and even out of the Brooke – Ridge -Taylor storyline, she had a lot to offer. Her character truly had potential.
So we can’t help but wonder, can the CBS drama bring Krista Allen back on-board as Dr. Taylor Hayes? While, on paper it would sound absurd as to why a production would fire an actor, then her back. Similarly, why a fired actor would want to come back? But stranger things have happened.
Honesty, nothing is impossible in the soapverse. We have seen many actors return to reprise their former roles. Not just on The Bold and The Beautiful, but also other soaps. In fact, many actors and productions have managed to call a truce even after parting ways in the most ugliest ways.
So, Krista Allen returning to B&B is certainly not impossible. However, we must also address a rumor that has started running the circuits recently. Some reports claim that The Bold and The Beautiful may have a recast Taylor underway! Although no person of authority close to the production has confirmed this rumor.
