The Bold and The Beautiful boasts of a really dynamic and talented star cast. In fact, some of them contribute more than one talent to the soap. Actor Lawrence Saint-Victor, popularly known as Carter Walton, is a prime example of that. Not only is he a phenomenal actor, but also a gifted writer! He has been utilizing his penmanship in the B&B writer’s room for a while now.
However, of late, The Bold and The Beautiful star has managed to earn some unwarranted accusations. Lawrence Saint-Victor is currently involved in a new romantic storyline with Hope Logan portrayed by Annika Noelle. In recent episodes, Carter and Hope have shared a few intimate scenes that involved a lot of kissing. just like any couple on any soap! Nothing odd about it!
Unfortunately, some over-enthusiastic fans manage to find problems even where there are none! Something similar happened when a B&B fan took to their X account to make a rude remark that Lawrence Saint-Victor is using his writer position on the soap to write himself into storylines and kissing actresses.
The comment now stands deleted on social media, but it did not miss the actor-writer’s eyes. Although Lawrence is not known to generally respond to mean remarks, this time, he chose to clear the air. “I don’t usually respond, but you’re calling my integrity into question. I as a writer, have no control over the story or what Carter does or doesn’t do. I’ve seen a few of your ignorant remarks about me. They are insulting,” he stated.
Now, because the original post attacking him was deleted, Lawrence’s post left many fans confused. Thus, the star took to his social media again to clarify. He explained that a “fan” has accused him of using his power as a writer to write himself into love scenes so he could kiss all the actresses. Many fans and followers immediately jumped to his defense, and the actor was quick to thank them for their support.
We know that social media has made it so easy to express our every thought to a wide audience. But we must remember that we need to be responsible with our words as they may have far-reaching impacts and consequences.
