The Young and the Restless Comings and Goings can tell how miserable Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) has been lately. Her life has become more chaotic than ever as she’s got her worst enemy by her inside or rather inside. Yep, Cameron Kirsten returned, not in flesh and blood but in the form of a twisted figment of Sharon’s imagination. How long will the drama last? Let’s hear it from Linden Ashby himself, who portrays Cameron on-screen.
Goodbye Cameron?
The Young and the Restless Comings and Goings confirm that creepy Cameron is guiding Sharon toward some seriously questionable choices. She has become insane to the point where second-guessing everyone around her is a new normal. Cameron represents all the deep-rooted fears and bad memories lurking within Sharon’s mind.
However, Ashby is having too much fun playing the bizarre relationship between Sharon and Cameron. In a chat with Woman’s World, Ashby couldn’t say enough good things about Sharon Case’s performance as his on-screen partner. He revealed the atmosphere behind the scenes is chill compared to the soap’s dark drama.
Moreover, the Y&R actor acknowledged the plot can get downright eerie, but it also cracks him up at times. “It’s hard to keep a straight face sometimes,” when Cameron starts ragging on people in front of Sharon. Linden even jokes about this ranting sesh to Josh Morrow (Nick Newman). Meanwhile, Cameron’s phantom fashion has become the talk of the town.
However, sporting the same old blood-stained shirt in every scene doesn’t bother Ashby. He thinks of it as a uniform he’s grown attached to. According to him, it’s all part of the job, and the attire adds a spooky flair to his ghostly alter-ego. Anyway, the Y&R troublemaker is unsure about his stay, “I don’t know how much longer I’m gonna last.”

In a funny twist, Ashby joked about Cameron and Sharon’s future together. “Who knows? Sharon and Cameron might become like an old married couple,” he chuckled. But as much as they bicker like an old married couple, their days are numbered. Why? Once Sharon gets the help she needs, her hallucination “Cameron” will most probably take his final bow.
Until then, this wild duo will not let Sharon have a normal and peaceful life. So, we can expect more shocking scenes and laughs in the upcoming episodes! Please end this storyline. But the truth is that Sharon did not kill Heather; it was Dianne.
Yes I think ending this horrible night mare story line, will be a good idea, and yes ending it with Sharon not killing Heather.
