Victor Newman on The Young and The Restless is just one of those characters you can love or hate, but simply cannot ignore. Every now and then he finds a way of getting under the skin of one mainstay character or the other. However, currently, he seems to have outdone himself by ruffling feathers of not just one or two or even three but a minimum of six people.
While he sits smugly behind the daunting Newman desk, chuckling at his own wit, we sense a storm building in the distance. But will the storm be strong enough to uproot the mighty Victor Newman? Only time will tell. All we can say at this point is that the story seems to be heading in a direction where an attempt is made at Victor’s life. After all, he really has made too many enemies at one go this time.
The Young and the Restless spoilers recall that Victor’s animosity with Jack Abbott is as old as day, and perhaps one that fans have enjoyed watching the most for a long time. But this time things are a bit different. He has also pitted himself against, Diane, Billy Abbott, and Kyle Abbott. That’s a whole lot of Abbotts wanting to bring Victor’s downfall.
Other than the Abbotts, his own granddaughter, Claire, has become wary of him. Of course, let’s not forget the conniving Audra Charles, who got stabbed in the back by Victor over Glissade. So, there is a whole country of people seething and wanting revenge on The Mustache. Oh! And how dare we forget Aunt Jordan! She is currently running wild around town with Ian Ward!
So, at this point, if someone was to shoot Victor, or put a bomb in his car, it would be very hard to tell the culprit. Of course, Victor Newman is too much of a hardball to bow out so easily. Thus, we can assume that the attack will just put him in a hospital bed for a while, or in a coma in a worst-case scenario. Yet, it would be thrilling to watch the mystery unfold as to who shot Victor!
As we mentioned above, there is a long list of suspects and possible red herrings. But the attacker could only be one. So, if you had to pick one, who would you choose as the culprit?
