The Young and the Restless: Y&R’s Hayley Erin Dishes Challenges Managing Personal And Professional Life

For The Young and the Restless star Hayley Erin, managing her career while raising twin daughters is a wild ride. Erin Talks Life as a Twin Mom

In an interview with Soap in Depth, The Young and the Restless described her twins as “fantastic.” She said, “Our house is a three-ring circus right now. It’s like living in a blender—hectic, loud, but oh-so-fun.” Moreover, Erin sees her little ones as “tiny chatterboxes” who always take her by surprise when they talk.

She added, “Their imaginations are running wild, and watching them bounce off each other is like watching a live-action cartoon. It’s adorable chaos.” Now, let’s shed some light on Hayley’s interesting anecdote about Y&R. So, the soap diva bid adieu to her role as Kiki Jerome on GH in 2019. Shortly, Erin and her husband, Adam Fergus, moved to Ireland for good.

However, destiny had other plans as Claire’s role on Y&R came calling. As a result, the duo made the leap back to the U.S. Erin shared, “We came back in August 2023. I was living in Ireland when I auditioned for Y&R.” Additionally, Erin recalled how she and Adam had to pack their lives in suitcases and crash at her parents’ house.

The Y&R star joked, “It was like a mini-vacation with a soft landing—definitely better than diving headfirst into house-hunting.” According to her, juggling a career with raising twins has been its own adventure. Hayley admitted, “Starting on Y&R has been a steep learning curve for me.” The star feels that being a working mum is “highly rewarding.” How?

Well, Erin is currently content with her life and will cherish this accomplished feat with great awe in the future. Furthermore, she highlighted how easy it is to relax and enjoy the wild ride.
