Billy’s Baby News Stops Victoria Cold
Victoria shows up at Billy’s place ready to warn him about the emails implicating Phyllis and Cane. The conversation takes a sharp turn when Billy realizes his name sits inside those same emails. He fires back hard. He feels Victor is using manufactured evidence to railroad Phyllis and enjoys making him collateral damage in the process.
Then Sally walks in wearing an engagement ring, and Victoria’s entire focus shifts. Billy confirms they are engaged and expecting. Both pieces of news land like a freight train. Claire does not exactly leap at the suggestion of stepping into Chancellor herself. Then Lily overhears the conversation and starts asking questions.
Nikki makes it clear she has no plans to return to Chancellor. But then she circles back to Lily’s fake abduction and asks plainly what Victor offered her for playing along. Lily claims it was simply about teaching Cane a lesson. She does not mention the Chancellor prize Victor reportedly dangled. Nikki is clearly not convinced, and the look on her face says she will not let this go easily.
Jack Uses Patty and Victor Savors Diane’s Pain
At Crimson Lights, Kyle catches Patty being openly flirtatious with Jack and immediately gets concerned. Jack pulls him aside and reveals he is not falling for Patty’s act. He is using her. Kyle is not entirely comfortable with that strategy. But, he gets on board when Jack outlines the plan to turn Patty against Victor and permanently end Victor and Nikki’s marriage.
Meanwhile, at the Athletic Club, Victor and Diane clash again while Patty arrives in an excellent mood. Diane sees straight through the Victor and Patty reunion act. She gets the last word in by reminding Patty that Jack will always choose her. Patty doubles down anyway and tells Victor she plans to stay in Genoa City and keep Jack away from Diane for good. Victor practically glows.
