Theo Silverton Secretly Returns And Targets Todd Grimshaw
The drama begins on the same day as Carla and Lisa Connor-Swain’s wedding. The couple celebrates at the Underworld factory, bringing some happy moments to Weatherfield. The story soon moves to the corner shop flat, where trouble begins to build.
Todd is inside the flat, packing his suitcase. He plans to travel to Thailand and start a new life away from his past. At the same time, a man walks across the scaffolding outside and looks through the window. That man is later revealed to be Theo Silverton.
A window suddenly smashes, which leaves Todd shocked. He notices a group of children outside and assumes they caused it. Relief does not last long. Theo is already inside the flat and hiding in Todd’s wardrobe, waiting for the right moment to reveal himself.
Todd Grimshaw Faces A Violent Attack From Theo
Theo steps out and confronts Todd, leading to a heated argument. The situation turns violent when Theo grabs a mortar bowl from the kitchen and tries to attack him. George Shuttleworth arrives just in time and steps in to stop things from getting worse. Theo refuses to back down. George pretends he has cramp in his leg, then suddenly jumps up, catches Theo off guard, and drags him into the bathroom.
Todd quickly ties a dressing gown cord around the door handle to keep Theo locked inside. Both men rush out onto the street and inform DC Kit Green about the situation. Kit contacts his team straight away. George then takes Todd to No. 11 so he can stay safe.
Danger does not end there. Todd asks George to return to the Rovers and finish lunch with Christina Boyd and Summer Spellman, trying to carry on as normal. Gary Windass reacts in anger after hearing everything. He smashes the windscreen of Theo’s van and sends him a threatening message.
News soon arrives that Kit and his team have failed to find Theo. He has escaped, likely by climbing out of a window before police reached him. Later that night, Todd gets into a taxi to head to the airport. He hopes to finally leave everything behind. He then realises he has left his phone at the flat. Todd asks the driver to wait and goes back to get it.
