A shocking discovery is about to send alarm bells ringing in Coronation Street, as the early ITVX release of the March 5 episode reveals a disturbing secret about Jodie Ramsey. While the Platt family remains distracted by baby Harper’s medical crisis. It’s a moment of curiosity at home leads Lily Platt to uncover something deeply unsettling, a hidden “trophy box” filled with suspicious items linked to people in Weatherfield.

Lily Stumbles Upon Jodie’s Hidden ‘Trophy Box’

The latest early episode available on ITVX places the spotlight firmly on Jodie Ramsey. The character, who first arrived during Corriedale, has recently been spending a lot of time around the Platt family.

It’s particularly at the hospital where David and Shona were anxiously waiting for updates on their daughter Harper’s operation. Initially, the Platt clan gathered in the hospital lobby, hoping for good news. But the situation quickly turned frightening when David and Shona learned that Harper had suffered a bleed.

CS/ Surgery fears for Harper

Overwhelmed and stressed, David snapped at the rest of the family and told everyone to leave so he and Shona could deal with the crisis privately. Jodie didn’t immediately leave, though. She lingered behind in the corridor and used the moment to get closer to David, eventually giving him a hug.

David responded with a warning, making it clear that what just happened must remain a secret and insisting she must not tell anyone about it.

Jodie’s Hospital Lies Unfold As Lily Connects The Dots

While waiting at the hospital, Jodie bumped into another mother who mistakenly believed Harper was her daughter. Instead of correcting her, Jodie went along with the assumption and played the role.

Later in the episode, she ran into the same woman again and continued the lie, chatting comfortably about Harper’s operation and still pretending she was the baby’s mum. Unfortunately for Jodie, someone overheard the conversation, Shona.

CS/ Jodie has caused lot of troubles

Thinking fast, Jodie claimed the woman was not mentally well and said she simply played along because it was easier than correcting her. Shona, completely drained after the stressful night at the hospital, accepted the explanation without digging deeper.

But while Jodie was busy keeping up appearances at the hospital. Lily Platt, played by Grace Ashcroft-Gardner, had been searching around for some schoolwork when she found a mysterious box hidden inside a cupboard.

A Lot Of Questions in Coronation Street

Curiosity got the better of her, and when she opened it, the contents immediately raised questions. Inside was a cut-out of Bernie Winter’s face, something viewers know Jodie stole only days earlier, along with a book belonging to Brian Packham.

When Jodie eventually returned home from the hospital, Lily wasted no time confronting her aunt. She demanded to know why the box contained Bernie’s picture and Brian’s book. And why Jodie had taken them in the first place.

CS/ Jodie and Lily’s mess

Jodie quickly scrambled to cover her tracks. She told Lily that she stole Brian’s book because she wanted to stand up for her niece, claiming David and Shona never properly defend Lily when they should. Still, the explanation didn’t completely settle the situation. Jodie then asked Lily directly whether she planned to keep quiet about what she had found. Lily admitted she wasn’t sure if she would stay silent, which clearly rattled Jodie. After the confrontation ended, Jodie was left alone.

With the “trophy box” appearing to contain items linked to people she has targeted before, Lily’s discovery could put her directly in danger. If Jodie believes the truth might come out, the big question now hanging over Weatherfield is chilling. So, how far will she go to keep the contents of that box hidden?
