Ravi Parts Ways With Priya Nandra-Hart
It wasn’t even days we saw the departures of some beloved Walford characters, Julie Bates, Sam Mitchell and Grant Mitchell. And now we are going to see two more fan favourite characters say goodbye. Recently, we saw both Ravi Gulati and Patrick Trueman pack up and leave under separate circumstances.
As we know, Ravi recently culminated in a formal hospital stay after severe suicidal ideation. Since he was diagnosed with complex stress disorder, the clinic staff encouraged him to communicate with his wife by writing an honest letter about the therapy progress.
Elsewhere Ravi believed that the emotional message had already been read. Hence, he spent an intimate afternoon with Priya at the residence. In fact, she assumed that the romantic encounter signalled a permanent reconciliation.
But soon, Priya learnt that zRavi had written the note to say goodbye and facilitate a clean break. Packing a suitcase amidst bitter tears, Ravi departed Walford to focus on his psychiatric rehabilitation.
Patrick Trueman Travels To Scotland In EastEnders
Let’s see how fans have reacted to Ravi’s sudden departure. One fan wrote, “Is anyone else shocked that Ravi could just leave without talking to his kids? I hated how he broke Priya’s heart. But to leave them to fend for themselves without seeing them in person is terrible.”
Another wrote,, “I hope Priya moves on and genuinely does not look back. I wanna see Ravi come back and beg for another chance and be told where to go. Priya deserves so much better.” Meanwhile, another exit that broke fans’ hearts was that of Patrick Trueman.
He received an urgent phone call from his former daughter-in-law Sophie, revealing that the young grandchildren are unable to cope with Anthony Trueman’s death. Hence, Patrick immediately arranged a trip to Scotland. In fact, before leaving, he also advised Ross Marshall and convinced him to proceed with Vicki despite her recent infidelity with Zack Hudson. But we have seen Patrick’s presence in the flashforward episode.
