Some good news for EastEnders fans as the beloved Sharon Watts makes a permanent return to Walford next week. And returning characters guarantees an extra dose of drama.

Sharon Watts Returns To EastEnders
Next week, Sharon returns to welcome newlyweds, Vicki Fowler and Ross Marshall, home from their honeymoon. However, the happy celebrations turn sour when Zack is forced out of the house. Elsewhere, things worsen when Ross’s troubled son, Joel Marshall is suddenly released from prison.
Sharon is joyful after reuniting with her family and is delighted to see her smitten sister back after a lovely honeymoon. However, things take a turn the moment Vicki walks through the door and spots Zack Hudson.
Sources say, “It’s super awkward between Vicki, Ross and Zack. Vicki can’t cope with having her former fling and new husband under the same roof, so she seeks advice from her auntie Kathy.”
After seeking advice from her, the newlyweds contemplate moving into a different property with Mo Harris and Jean Slater. However, Ross is upset by the relocation plans. Hence, a guilty Zack decides to pack and move out of the property instead to clear the air for the happy couple.
Joel Returns With His Mum, Cleo
The peace is shattered instantly when a hostile figure from the past arrives at No. 43 alongside his mum, Cleo. Ross Marshall had originally arranged for Joel to reside with Cleo after being released from the young offenders’ institute.
However, the mother blindsides the family by refusing to take the teenager in. Now, Vicki is terrified that she has to house the unstable youth who previously assaulted her, so she flees the house.
Insiders reveal, “Vicki can’t cope with Joel’s return, so she scrapes into the cafe to confide in Sharon.” Later the local teens Avani Nandra-Hart and Amy Mitchell hunt her down inside the building.
