Den’s exit occurred during the show’s 20th anniversary episode. The manipulator had blackmailed Zoe Slater into sleeping with him. He did so to get her pregnant so she could lie to his son Dennis about the baby’s paternity.
Hours later, Chrissie Watts, Zoe and Sam confronted him in the Queen Vic. And Zoe hit Den over the head with a heavy iron doorstop, and he was knocked down. However, when the women were trying to hide the body, Den woke up and grabbed Chrissie’s ankle. And she delivered the second blow, which killed him.
Teddy Mitchell is one more character people mention. Teddy’s son, Harry, had accidentally killed a drug dealer, Okie. And to save him from prison, Teddy took the blame. After which, he was imprisoned for a minimum of 20 years. And fans didnt like that he was dropped so suddenly.
