Coronation Street spoilers reveal a frightening week ahead for Will Driscoll as Megan Walsh comes up with a shocking way to get him on his own.
Just as Will tries to move forward and enjoy spending time with a new friend, Megan drags him back into a situation he desperately wanted to leave behind.
Will Considers Giving Up Athletics In Coronation Street
The week begins as Will opens up to Hope Dobbs about the struggles he is still facing. He admits that he is thinking about quitting athletics because the sport constantly reminds him of Megan and the trauma she caused.
Hope refuses to let her friend give up so easily. She tells Will that walking away from athletics would mean letting Megan win and allowing her to take away something he truly enjoys and has worked hard to achieve.
A Coronation Street insider explained that Hope and Will have developed a strong friendship. “Hope and Will have a really lovely budding friendship,” continues our spy. “After hearing Will out, Hope is keen to make him realise that he needs to stick to athletics and not let Megan have any impact on his future.
“You have to admit that’s wise words coming from a 15-year-old, let alone Hope!”. Hope’s encouragement gives Will plenty to think about. The big question is whether her advice will convince him to continue pursuing athletics or whether he will decide to leave the sport behind.
Megan Forces Her Way Back Into Will’s Life
Later in the week, Will tells Hope that he has received a text message from Lee, one of his close friends from Hull. Lee apparently wants to meet up while visiting Weatherfield.
Happy at the prospect of seeing an old friend again, Will agrees to the meet-up and heads to the Freshco car park at the arranged time. He waits there expecting to see Lee arrive at any moment.
Things quickly take a disturbing turn when Megan appears instead. At that moment, Will realises that someone has deceived him and that Megan has posed as Lee to lure him into the meeting.
