Peacock’s Days of Our Lives is still one of the most watched soaps, despite the fact that viewers now have to pay a subscription to watch it. That just goes on to prove what a loyal fanbase the soap has managed to build for itself over the decades. And in no small means, a lot of that credit goes to the long time cast of the soap.
Unfortunately, some of them have now fallen off the canvas. However, fans have certainly not forgotten them. Such was the impact they made on Days of Our Lives. Among the long list of characters that fans would love to see on the screen again, some names ranked higher than others.
For instance, Days of Our Lives fandom would love to see Anna DiMera return to the fold. She was portrayed by Leanne Hunley, and was last seen in November 2019. Anna and Tony’s (Thaao Penghlis)pairing was really a fan favorite. So, hands down their comeback together would really fire things up!
Many Days of Our Lives fans are still holding a torch for Dimitri Von Leuschner’s return too. He is a fairly new character on the soap, portrayed by actor Peter Porte. Yet, his chemistry with Leo Stark left a lasting impression on the fans, and has them wanting more of his handsome face. Well, we certainly can’t argue with that now, can we?
While many DOOL fans were going gaga over Dimitri, others insisted that it would serve the soap well to bring back his mom Megan Hathaway back too! And we agree! Megan, portrayed by Miranda Wilson, is one of the fiercest modern day Days of Our Lives villain. Moreover, she is perhaps the most like Stefano, than any of his other kids! She is so fun to watch!
Anne Milbauer, portrayed by Meredith Scott Lynn between 2012-17, also made the list! back in the day, she was really good friends with Theresa. Now that Theresa has become a main stay on Days of our Lives again, she could certainly do well with a good friend, no?
